After a stop to re-caffeinate at an iconic Cape Town coffee spot, we’ll set off on an unforgettable Cape Peninsula road trip in a slick luxury vehicle. First up: Cape Point, where dramatic cliffs and sweeping Atlantic Ocean views will leave you in awe. It’s the perfect place to snap some envy-inducing photos and breathe in the fresh sea air.
Next, we’ll make our way to Boulders Beach, home to a waddling colony of African penguins. Get up close with these charming creatures before heading to Kalk Bay, a quirky seaside village where sunbathing seals and a delicious oceanfront lunch await. After lunch, soak up the lively surfer vibes and iconic colourful huts of Muizenberg, then cool off with a refreshing swim in one of the Cape’s hidden tidal pools.
As the day winds down, we’ll cruise along the world-famous Chapman’s Peak Drive, a route that’s as exhilarating as it is scenic. The grand finale? A cheeky sunset drink overlooking the ocean – the perfect toast to an epic day exploring the Cape’s coastal wonders.

Upon arriving at the charming property, you’ll be greeted with a warm smile from the owners, who’ll share their family’s rich farming history. Hop aboard a tractor for a tour through their lush artichoke fields, learning fascinating tidbits about the growing and harvesting process. Roll up your sleeves and pick a bunch of perfectly ripe artichokes straight from the source, then sit back and relax as your hosts transform them into a mouthwatering paddock-to-plate lunch paired with local wine.
From there, the journey continues to the historic Taal Monument, where a quick guided tour uncovers the story of Afrikaans becoming one of South Africa’s official languages.
